Dr. Avijit Chatterjee recently started the next chapter of his career as Head of AI/ML and NextGen Analytics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This is after spending 30 exciting years in IBM, in technical leadership roles, such as Chief Analytics Officer and IBM Distinguished Engineer supporting a large Financial Services Account and prior to that as the Chief Data Scientist of the Data Scientist Elite Team. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Southern California. Avijit played instrumental role in leading the launch of 2 IBM software products and filed over 10 patents. He won 3 Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards and also received 2 Top Performer Equity Awards.
